- Are you passionate about Disney?
- Do you have expert-level knowledge of Disney Destinations?
- Are you a United States Resident?
- Have you been to Disney World multiple times, especially in the last few years, and Disneyland at least once?
- Have you marketed for a business or developed a strong marketing plan to get your business off the ground quickly?
- Are you hard-working, professional, self-motivated, and customer service-oriented?
- Would you feel comfortable offering sound advice to clients via phone and email, and booking travel via a computer system?
- Do you actively use social media?
Being a Travel Expert is not for everyone, but if you answered yes to multiple or any of the questions above, then you should consider joining the travel VIP team as a Travel Expert.

- We pay among the highest commission in the business, however, if you’ve never worked a commissioned sales position, you should be aware that we do not get paid until the client completes their travel arrangements, thus delaying your commission payment by several weeks or months after your initial booking.

Watch your email! We will send you our Welcome Guide which will help to get you started registering and training with our suppliers. There will also be instructions on how to get your IATA/CLIA card, commission payments, W-9 and more.
We have no minimum booking requirements. You may book as often or as little as you want.
Before you begin booking travel for any customers you must complete your training for that specific supplier. This typically can take 2-3 days.
Commissions are paid after travel is completed. This is when most suppliers pay us commission. We pay 70% commission for each booking. Every 2 weeks you will submit a request form for Commissions you have booked. Commissions are typically paid within a few days of receiving your request and you can be paid through direct deposit or check.
No. You only have to pay this fee once when you join Travel VIPs Basic Membership Program. It is just an administration fee to cover the cost of getting you registered with our suppliers.
Yes. We provide E&O insurance to all our agents no matter what membership level they are.
All of our suppliers offer online training courses on their products so you can feel confident in selling them. Disney for instance has their "Disney College of Knowledge" which will train you on all the available Disney properties you can book. Everything is done online at your own pace. Travel VIP also offers courses and webinars for best practices and more.
We will send you an email to request your registration on the IATA portal. You first need to make an account. Once you’ve done that you can register as an individual agent under Travel VIP using our IATA number found in your Welcome Document. There is a $49 fee for the card each calendar year. An IATA card is required to use the agent benefits and must be in hand before requesting any benefits. Each card is subject to review before approval. You will find more information in your welcome guide.
Yes, you can. Our main focus and seller is Disney Destinations however, we are partnered with other companies like Universal, Carnival Cruises, Expedia TAAP, and more so that you can sell and earn commission on them as well.
DTA benefits are only available to agents AFTER they have completed the Disney College of Knowledge. Benefits are a great way for you to learn about what you are selling. Disney offers great agent rates on cruises, resorts, and tickets. All benefits are subject to change and availability.
